OUTCRAFTERS EXPEDITION | WALES 2027 Sunday 14th – Friday 19th February 2027 The ultimate Outcrafters expedition returns for its fourth annual outing, and for 2027, we are taking mountain adventure to new depths! Combining iconic Snowdonia peaks with deep subterranean exploration, this six-day expedition moves beyond the standard trails to deliver a truly unforgettable mountain experience.
Based in Llanberis, this year’s trip blends rugged high-country trekking with world-class underground adventures, paired with our classic Outcrafters tradition and community spirit. Expedition Highlights
The Go Below Challenge | An epic underground adventure through abandoned Snowdonia slate mines - navigating ziplines, bridges, and deep mine shafts.
Zip World Deep Mine & Bounce Below | Descend into historic caverns for an immersive underground tour, followed by the ultimate subterranean trampoline experience.
Ogwen Valley & Llanberis Hikes | Classic figure-of-eight mountain routes taking in dramatic ridge views, glacial valleys, and rugged mountain terrain.
The Outcrafters Experience | It's one of the highlights every year, and it's the simplest bit of the whole expedition. So on top of all the adventure, the navigating and the team building, we'll have plenty of time at the hostel with down time, movie nights and evening cooking. Plus of course, we'll have to hunt for the now famous February Ice Cream by the coast!
