We are thrilled to once again offer our Monthly Outcrafters spaces. Because of the specialist bushcraft skills covered in these sessions, the minimum age for Monthly Outcrafters is 10 years old.
What is Monthly Outcrafters? Tagging onto the sessions offered to our regular weekly groups, Monthly Outcrafters provides a full day of immersive bushcraft workshops. Activities vary by the time of year and include:
Fire Craft skills
Forest Craft (incorporating tools, crafts, and building projects)
Cook Craft (every monthly session features an open-fire-cooked lunchtime meal)
More Than Just a Monthly Session (Registration required)
Attending monthly, alongside registration, registers your child as an Outcrafter. This comes with fantastic extra perks:
Progress logged and monitored towards the Outcrafter Collection
Access to exclusive events like Build Days, Open Woodland Days, and the Annual Expedition
Eligibility for our Duke of Edinburgh Programme
Timings and Add-Ons
Monthly Sessions Only | 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Monthly Sessions + Overnighter | Friday at 5:30 pm to Saturday at 4:00 pm (Note: Start and finish times can vary for special events like November or April).
Overnighter Add-On | Available for children who already have some camping experience with Inside Out. If your child is new to camping with us, please get in touch to discuss before booking.
2026/2027 Dates
While the name suggests every month, our schedule adapts around special seasonal events and expeditions:
10th October 2026
14th November 2026 (Extended full-weekend event featuring two nights of wild camping for overnighter bookings)
December ~ No monthly session (replaced by our dedicated 'Christmas Cracker' event)
January & February ~ No monthly sessions (replaced by preparation sessions for the Annual Expedition)
13th March 2027
10th April 2027 (Seasonal Spring special event featuring an extended weekend with up to three nights of wild camping for the overnighter option)
15th May 2027
12th June 2027
